The 27th Annual ANSMA Awards Show takes place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Light House Arts Centre in Halifax!

This year’s theme is Roots and Rhythm, celebrating the deep connection between our heritage as people of African descent and the music we’ve created that has transcended generations. From the Indigenous African Nova Scotian roots to rhythms shared across the Black Diaspora, we are bringing both local and global Black music history into the spotlight.
